"One of the most awesome corners anywhere in the world"
- Matt Neal, Current & Three Times British Touring Car Champion

Paddock Hill Bend is the first and most famous bend at Brands Hatch. It commands great respect from driver and rider alike. The apex of the corner is blind and drivers need to trust their turn-in point from the fastest part of the circuit.  It is frequently a first lap incident flash point as well as the place for many attempts, successful and otherwise, at overtaking.  Local knowledge, enormous skill, great courage and self-belief are all in the mix to get this world-famous corner just right.
